Jonah Shah, MD

Dr. Jonah Shah grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his two brothers. A valedictorian in high school, he went on to pursue his undergraduate and medical education at Saint Louis University. Dr. Shah completed his internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri, where he served as chief resident his final year. It was during this time that Dr. Shah developed a passion for vitreoretinal surgery, which led him to CRI for subspecialty surgical training. Dr. Shah holds active medical licenses in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, and is dedicated to improving eyesight and quality of life of each of his patients.

Dr. Shah and his wife, Sarah, live here in Memphis with their young son and tortoiseshell cat. In his free time you can find him enjoying time with his family, playing golf, or watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
